1. Client: AlteraInc (SAP), CA

Scenario:

Altera is one of the leading Hi-tech industries, with a Turnover of $1 billion and having operations in more than 35 countries across the globe. Clients wanted to develop solutions in SAP R3 and configure various SAP modules. Client was looking for senior consultants to do the project.

Solution:

Nexeon handled responsibilities which included coordinating and development of solution in SAP R/3, CRM, SEM, BW etc., consolidating several other systems, plan and conduct Blue printing, Conducted work shops for FI/CO, PS. Integration workshops with other functional areas (MM, SD, CRM, GTS, BW) of SAP. Developed solution for the complex business scenario with calculation of ICM (incentives and commissions) based on POS data (which is available only in CRM and not in SAP R/3), Revenue recognition, Settlements and complex inter company transactions, third party orders, ATP for OTC, Procure to Pay scenarios etc. Capture the time and material for R&D projects capitalize into assets.

2. Client: Rexam, IN

Scenario:

Rexam is one of the world's top five consumer packaging groups. Client was implementing SAP WM/MM module.

Solution:

Nexeon provided functional resources that worked towards WM/PP interfaces (SAP Console), Shipping and procurement. Actively interacted with the users and was involved in writing procedures and end user documentation. Actively participated in the team meetings.

Configured warehouse management settings with various storage types, sections, storage bins, configured control parameters for TR/TO (Release of TR with Prod Ord), Monitored critical process in warehouse, defined the type of storage available in each warehouse (Data Upload at the time of Go-Live), created storage bin for each storage type, created the warehouse management view in the material master record for the material which will be managed in warehouse. (Data upload at the time of Go-Live), checked the strategies that are defined for put-away & picking to search for storage bin. Monitored the differences at regular interval & processed the differences pertaining to Inventory controls, cycle count process

3. Client: Center For Medicare And Medicaid Services (CMS), Baltimore

Scenario:

CMS is a Federal Govt. agency which manages the Medicare and Medicaid system in this country. The name of the project was HIGLAS (Healthcare Integrated General Ledger Accounting System). The project is one of the largest Oracle Implementation involving right now over 200 people both in functional and technical side. They have over 50 contractors in various states in USA:

Solution:

Nexeon played an important role by helping the client. Our consultants were extensively involved in developing various Design Specifications, Business Scenarios, and Testing Scripts etc. Extensively involved in Designing, Developing, and Testing of various extensions to move them to Production. This requires extensive communication and presentation skill. Did various set up jobs in AR,AP,GL & Fed. Admin responsibilities in various instances to get the instance ready for testing. Involved in coordinating developers and testers to carry out test requirements. Involved in Unit, Alpha, Beta and User Testing. Handling and resolving various Production/User Testing issues

4. Client: BankOne / JP Morgan Chase, Columbus, OH, USA.

Scenario:

The new JPMorgan Chase & Co. was created upon completion of the holding company merger between JPMorgan Chase and Bank One. JPMChase is a leading global financial services firm with assets of $1.2 trillion and operations in more than 50 countries. The project covers the maintenance and creation of various test, stress, performance and production Oracle Databases for the merged companies for the Peoplesoft environments and for the Global Data Warehouse. Also included are the performance tuning and user/developer guidance for the optimization of the Database usage and performance.

Solution:

Nexeon has been a long time Technology Resource Partner with BankOne / JP Morgan Chase. We have been one of the leading companies who have given lot of full time employees to this client. Our people have been handling responsibilities to Build and maintain 9i Oracle databases (1 TB +) for production, test and UAT purposes for the PeopleSoft environment. Production support for PeopleSoft and dataware house databases. Ongoing performance tuning of the database parameters and queries in the OLTP databases. Suggest and implement specific performance improvement techniques like use of Oracle Disk Manager, Table & Index Partitioning, gathering stats using StatsPack, etc. Suggest and efficiently deploy Oracle’s new features as and when required. Configure and maintain OID servers and deploy failover for database connectivity. Design and implement load/stress testing. Design and implement Backup and Recovery strategy for databases. Design and implement a perfect DR (Disaster Recovery) environment for the Peoplesoft production databases. Setup and administer replication environments between warehouse and Peoplesoft databases using SHAREPLEX. Interact with vendors (Oracle, Quest, Veritas, HP) to resolve any product-specific issues. Perform planned data refresh of the warehouse dbs from PeopleSoft source databases using TTS (Transportable tablespaces) and direct inserts. Coordinate and implement data warehouse migrations with reference to Shareplex.
